Daniel P. Cronin Jr. received his Bachelor of Arts from Boston College. Thereafter, he received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. After completing school, Mr. Cronin joined the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office where he served as an Assistant District Attorney for twelve years.
In his tenure as an Assistant District Attorney Mr. Cronin has successfully prosecuted cases involving economic crime, sex trafficking, and vehicular crime. In his role as a prosecutor in the Vehicular Crime Bureau, Mr. Cronin prosecuted the most serious and complicated vehicular offenses, such as Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, Manslaughter in the 2nd Degree, and Leaving the Scene of an Incident Without Reporting Resulting in Death and/or Serious Physical Injury.
Mr. Cronin was the recipient of the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (“MADD”) Recognition of Excellence District Attorney Award for his efforts in defending impaired driving victims in New York in 2019 and 2020.
Mr. Cronin was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2012.
